Iran's Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saidlu is expected to pay a visit in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in the coming days.

ANKARA- Sources with the Iranian Embassy in Ankara have said the visit was not related to the downing of a Turkish warplane by Syria in the international airspace over the Mediterranean last Friday.

Sources said the visit was scheduled earlier and it was aimed at discussing economic relations between the two countries.

Iran's Culture Minister Mohammad Hoseini is set to arrive in Ankara on Wednesday to attend Iranian Culture Days in the Turkish capital.
