Bahcesehir University opens campus in Berlin

BERLIN- The inauguration ceremony for BAU's new campus was attended by the Chairman of the BAU Board of Trustees Enver Yucel, Rector Prof. Dr. Senay Yalcin, Chief Advisor for the Turkish Prime Ministry Prof. Dr. Bekir Karliga, Deputy Rector of Berlin Technical University Prof. Dr. Hans Ulrich Heiss, a member of the Berlin State Assembly Ozcan Mutlu and many other dignitaries.

Speaking at the ceremony, Yucel said that they were the first Turkish university to open a campus in Europe.

"We are here to compete with the universities of the European Union (EU)," Yucel noted.

BAU's campus in Turkey is located in Istanbul.
