Turkish Minister of Economy Zafer Caglayan on Wednesday said that Japan wished to do business with Turkey in third countries.
TOKYO- Speaking to reporters after meeting high level executives of various Japanese corporations, Caglayan said that his current visit to Japan intended to carry commercial relations between Turkey and Japan to a formal ground.
"Within this frame, two Japanese ministers and I will sign a protocol," Caglayan noted. "Japanese companies have a growing interest in Turkey. They want to cooperate with Turkey in third countries," Caglayan stated.
"The Japanese executives I have talked with today have expressed that they have been impressed by Turkey's economic performance. The executives want to make Turkey a base of production and a center of trade and want to cooperate with us in every possible field," Caglayan also said.
